Frequently Asked Questions

Google Veo is an AI video generation model. Videos and frames generated by Veo include SynthID invisible watermarks (embedded in pixel data) and occasionally visible "Generated by Google Veo" text overlays. This tool removes visible overlay watermarks from exported frames.

SynthID invisible watermarks are embedded imperceptibly in pixel values using a proprietary algorithm. Browser-based canvas tools cannot detect or remove invisible watermarks — only visible overlay watermarks are removed by this tool.

Take a screenshot of the video frame you want to clean, or use a screen recording tool to capture still frames. Then upload the image file to this tool. For full video processing, professional video editing software is required.

For best results on complex backgrounds, use the Edge Patch method with high Strength. For solid or gradient backgrounds, Color Fill produces the cleanest result. The key is to draw the selection box precisely around just the watermark, with minimal overshoot into the background.
